E-BIKE RESCUE

Complimentary Bicycle Inspection Terms

The following terms (“Inspection Terms”) govern the complimentary bicycle inspection service Bike Bike LLC and/or its affiliates (DBA “Speedy’s E-Bike Rescue”) (“Speedy’s,” “us,” or “we”) provides to its customers (the “Bicycle Inspection”).

These Inspection Terms are incorporated into and subject to the Speedy’s E-Bike Rescue Terms and Conditions (the “Service Terms and Conditions”). You can review the most up to date version of the Service Terms and Conditions at any time by visiting https://joinspeedys.com/terms/.

  1. What is the Bicycle Inspection? Our Bicycle Inspection is a complimentary, non-invasive, visual inspection to check the condition and appearance of your bicycle at the time of inspection. At the conclusion of the Bicycle Inspection, we will verbally communicate any issues identified during the inspection. You can then provide this information to your local bike shop..
  2. Where does the Bicycle Inspection take place? Once you schedule your Bicycle Inspection, an individual from our team will meet you and your bicycle at a location specified by you within the Designated Zone or “Coverage Area”. Please note that your bicycle should be reasonably clean to ensure that our team member can clearly see and accurately report on its condition.
  3. Is the Bicycle Inspection included in your subscription? We offer one (1) complimentary Bicycle Inspection per subscription, but we reserve the right in our sole discretion to withdraw this offer for any or no reason to any or all of our customers.
  4. What is not included?
  • No parts or covers are removed for a Bicycle Inspection. The Bicycle Inspection does not involve dismantling or disturbing any structure, assembly, component or internal mechanism of the bicycle.
  • The Bicycle Inspection does not include any electrical or motor diagnosis. For example, we do not test the battery in any way.
  • We do not ride your bicycle, and therefore we do not provide any indication of any faults which might have become apparent had the bicycle been ridden.
  • The Bicycle Inspection will not identify hidden defects, intermittent faults, or problems that require parts of the bicycle to be removed.
  • The Bicycle Inspection will not identify whether any of the bicycle’s systems or parts will continue to operate after the Bicycle Inspection is completed.
  • The Bicycle Inspection will not confirm whether any of the components of your bicycle are original or authentic.

The Bicycle Inspection can only describe and/or identify defects actually found and/or which are reasonably capable of being found upon an external visual examination of the bicycle at the time of the Bicycle Inspection. We cannot advise of defects if we cannot see them, or they are not apparent during the Bicycle Inspection.

Bicycles over five (5) years old may contain serious internal, structural or mechanical defects and/or hidden corrosion, which will not be detectable from an external, visual examination. These bicycles may prove to be less reliable and may need more frequent repairs/servicing than more modern bicycles.

5. Are there any other terms and conditions? These Terms are incorporated into and subject to the Service Terms and Conditions, including provisions that limit our warranties, limit our liability, and require that we resolve any disputes using binding arbitration.
